Biggest Loser Update:
Several members of the Christ Chapel staff are once again participating in a weight loss challenge. Last winter several people took the challenge, and lost an incredible amount of weight. I didn't join them on their quest then, but after many years of feeling bad about my weight, and the motivation of a competition has prompted me to jump in this time.
We have been at it for about 5 weeks now, and to date, I have lost 32 pounds. I started out at 221 pounds, the most I have ever weighed. I'm amazed at how easy it is becoming to (choose) to eat right. I rarely have anything fried anymore, no sugar soda, and have only had about a dozen french fries this month.
What I haven't shared with my competition in this challenge is the website I am using to track my caloric, and exercise goals. It's called, The Daily Plate, and can be found at http://www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate/users/myplate/
There are incredible tools on this site, and tracking your goals are free! The best feature is their search engine. You can type in the restaurant you eat at, and it will give you a full breakdown of their menu and nutrition info.
There are 6 more weeks left in this competition, but I don't think anyone can catch me!! (That includes Jason Comer!!!) :-)
I can't wait to fit in my skinny jeans again!
